Opening thoughts on the album...

For a really long time I hated recording music because I didn't have a sound. I hated the time and energy spent recording music for the sake of people only listening to it once. I didn't have a sound, I didn't have a direction and I was rapping to every style known to man but I wasn't fulfilled. I didn't feel like the music I recorded represented my love for Hip-Hop culture.

I started this album with no preconceived notions.

The only thing I knew was with the music John Vell and I were creating it deserved a tape together. This music was new, was fresh something neither of us had done or heard before. We'd gone through tons of trials and tribulations with the music and with real life - From tumultuous break-ups to homelessness to me crashing in his apartment for a month. But because we challenged each other with the different sounds and pushed each other to give our best, I fell back in love with music
